Welcome to ToneLang. ToneLang is operated by Tonelang Translator. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. These terms apply to both the ToneLang website and the ToneLang iOS app.

The service

  • ToneLang provides AI‑powered translation with three tone styles (Formal/Casual/Literal).
  • We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service for illegal, infringing, or harmful activities.
  • Do not submit sensitive personal information (passwords, bank card numbers, etc.).
  • Do not abuse the service (e.g., excessive automated requests or attacks).

Output disclaimer

  • Outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for how you use them.
  • The service does not provide legal/medical/financial advice.

Paid subscriptions

  • ToneLang offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan.
  • Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, who handles all payment processing, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period.
  • Prices may change, but will not affect your current billing cycle. New prices apply from the next billing period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

Refund policy

  • If you are not satisfied with our service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of subscribing, no questions asked.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or payment provider.
  • To request a refund, please contact contact@tonelang.app with your order number.

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • After cancellation, you can continue using Pro features until the end of your paid period.
  • No additional charges will be incurred upon cancellation.

Intellectual property

  • You retain rights to your input content.
  • ToneLang branding and product UI are owned by us or respective owners.

Third‑party services

  • The service may depend on third‑party APIs and infrastructure. Third‑party availability and policy changes may affect service experience.
  • Payments are processed by Paddle.com. Please refer to Paddle's terms of service for payment-related terms.
  • You agree that we may use third‑party services as necessary to provide the service.

Limitation of liability

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free service.
  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service.

Changes to terms

  • We may update these terms. Updates will be posted on this page with the latest version and date.
